POET is the token of poet.ninja, a minimal daily-writing community for poets. Every day, each member writes one short line — at most 21 characters — and that is the day's mining: everyone who shows up and writes shares the day's emission equally. There is no feed, no likes, no comments and no follower counts. Just writing, presence, and a small daily ritual shared by a small circle of poets.

Typing is Mining 打字即挖矿
- Daily emission: 2,740 POET, released linearly from the 10,000,000 mining pool over about ten years, with no halving in the first ten years.
- Shares are counted per person, not per line: writing one character counts the same as writing many lines.
- If nobody writes on a given day, that day's emission rolls over to the next mining day. The total is never increased.
- Daily settlement runs at 00:05 (Asia/Shanghai). Written lines cannot be edited or deleted after submission.
- Withdrawals are now open: members with a balance of at least 1,000 POET may withdraw their full balance to their bound Base address; in this phase each withdrawal is confirmed manually by the founder.
UQn Indie Prize UQn独立写作奖
POET is also part of the UQn Indie Prize (UQn独立写作奖), an award for independent writing — presented to writers, mostly poets, who keep creating outside the mainstream spotlight. The prize consists of a cash award, the honour itself, and 100,000 POET per recipient, paid from the project treasury. Recipients are mostly authors previously published by the founder's independent imprint, Guopi Shudian (果皮书店, kpee.art).
